I build systems and write here about what holds them together: decision under uncertainty, data governance and sovereignty, and the concrete engineering that comes with it.

Each article starts from a real problem and goes down to the model or mechanism that solves it: point processes, sequential decision under partial observation, data usage policies, resource verification. I write what I would have wanted to read when approaching these topics, methodically and all the way through.
